I watched "Malena", this interesting little Italian flick about a young boy in love with a beautiful widow, set during the war. Monica Belluci played the widow, and dear lord if she isn't the most gorgeous woman alive. I nearly cried when she cut off all her long, curly hair. It was a mediocre film all in all, I found it kind of boring after a while that the two main characters never actually interacted with each other until a brief scene at the end, but Belluci was so lovely in it. I'll have to check out more of her work.

I emerged from my room this morning, only to find a strange boy sleeping on the floor of my living room. Said strange boy proceeded to lie there until noon, even though the rest of the house was up and about, talking and blowdrying hair and listening to music. I thought perhaps he might be dead, but when I went to the fridge for a yogurt cup, he arose from his cocoon of blankets, eyed me with a sleepy grin, and greeted me with a sheepish "Hello."
"Hi." I replied with a raised brow. I immediately felt bad for my urge to step on the foot that had been poking out from under the blankets earlier, because he was a little bit cute. However, he is a friend of Tab's, and therefore must be lacking in intellectual capabilities. I'm not biased; those are just the facts, people.
Normally, a roommate having somebody stay over without telling me about it wouldn't bother me at all, but it's against Residence policy not to ask permission, and I want to be a vindictive bitch and yell at her about it. I just... hate her. I actually hate her. I'm not sure I've ever hated anyone in my life. But her? Let's put it this way: if I had to make a choice between braining her with a garden gnome, or having Clay Aiken's nipples ripped off by a transvestite gorilla on national television, I would forsake all entertainment value of the latter and go with the former.
And on that visual pleasantry, I bid you all adieu.
